Electrostatic Simulation of a Touchscreen Device
This project explores the working principles of capacitive touchscreen devices, which revolutionized modern technology. Focusing on the mutual capacitive sensing method, the study combined theoretical derivations with numerical simulations using the relaxation method. The objective was to compute the capacitance matrix to understand how touch input interacts with electric fields. Despite challenges in achieving perfect simulation results, this investigation provides valuable insights into the electrodynamics of touchscreens, combining physics and engineering principles.
